REGGAE SUMFEST '96 Reggae SumFest '96, creation's greatest Reggae Music Festival, presented another FOUR nights of spectacular Reggae ! August 6-10, 1996 Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre Montego Bay, Jamaica The first night was at Montego Bay's Pier One with The Clash of the Titans featuring Jamaica's #1 Sound System, Stone Love, Pieces from Montego Bay and David "Ramjam" Rodigan from London, England. This battle of the Sound Systems was followed by four nights of Reggae SumFest '96 on the main stage at The Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre in Montego Bay, beginning with the Wednesday, August 7, LEGENDS showcase of Jamaica's musical legends. On Thursday, August 8, Catherine Hall was converted into the world's greatest dancehall for DANCEHALL BIZNESS. Friday Night, August 9, was ROOTS ROCK JAM and Saturday, August 10, was WORLD OF REGGAE for two nights of the biggest names in Reggae Music from around the world. As in past years, by the time the talent line-up was complete, Reggae SumFest filled the Catherine Hall stage with over 40 hours of great entertainment.
